Ordering & Sizing
How do I order wallpaper for my wall?
Ordering is simple! For wall murals, enter your exact wall dimensions (width and height) on the product page, and we'll create a custom-sized mural for your space. For traditional wallpaper rolls, select the height you need and order enough rolls to cover your wall width.

How do I measure my wall correctly?
For accurate measurements:
- Width: Measure the full width of your wall from corner to corner
- Height: Measure from the floor to the ceiling (or desired height)
- Measure in multiple spots as walls can be uneven
- Use the largest measurements to ensure full coverage
- We recommend adding 1-2 inches extra for trimming
Pro tip: Take photos of your wall and note any obstacles like outlets, windows, or doors.
What is the panel width?
All our wallpapers come in 20-inch (50 cm) wide panels. This width is optimal for easy handling during installation while minimizing the number of seams. Panels are designed to butt-joint together seamlessly with no overlap required.
Is there a minimum order size?
Yes, the minimum order size is 1 square meter (approximately 10.76 sq ft). This ensures we can produce quality prints while keeping costs reasonable. There's no maximum size - we can create murals for walls of any dimension!
Can I order samples before buying?
Absolutely! We highly recommend ordering samples before committing to a full order. Sample swatches are available for every design directly on the product page. Samples let you:
- See the true colors in your room's lighting
- Feel the material texture and quality
- Test how it looks against your furniture and decor
- Compare different materials (Peel & Stick, PVC-Free, Textured)
Will the colors match what I see on screen?
Every screen displays colors differently based on its calibration, brightness, and settings. While we work hard to ensure our product photos are as accurate as possible, slight color variations are normal and expected.
For the most accurate color representation, we strongly recommend ordering a sample swatch and viewing it in your room's actual lighting conditions before placing a full order.
Shipping & Delivery
How long does production take?
All orders are printed on demand specifically for you. Production typically takes 1-3 business days. During peak seasons (holidays, promotions), production time may be slightly longer.
You'll receive an email confirmation when your order ships, complete with tracking information.
How long does shipping take?
After production, delivery typically takes 3-7 business days depending on your location. Total time from order to delivery is usually 4-10 business days.
Delivery times may vary based on:
- Your geographic location
- Local customs processing (for international orders)
- Carrier delivery schedules
Do you ship internationally?
Yes! We ship worldwide. No matter where you are, we can deliver our wallpapers to your doorstep. International orders may be subject to local customs duties and taxes, which are the responsibility of the recipient.
Is shipping free?
Yes! We offer FREE worldwide shipping on all orders - no minimum purchase required. Whether you're ordering a sample swatch or covering an entire room, shipping is always on us.
How can I track my order?
Tracking is included on all orders! Once your order ships, you'll receive an email with:
- Tracking number
- Carrier information
- Link to track your package in real-time

How is the wallpaper packaged?
Your wallpaper is carefully rolled (not folded) and packaged in a sturdy protective tube to prevent damage during transit. Each panel is numbered and labeled for easy installation. Installation instructions are included with every order.
Returns & Refunds
What is your return policy?
Because every order is custom printed specifically for you, we cannot accept returns for change of mind, incorrect measurements provided by the customer, or color expectations based on screen display.
However, we stand behind our products 100%. If there's an issue with your order, we'll make it right. Please review our complete Refund Policy for full details.
What if my order arrives damaged?
If your wallpaper arrives damaged due to shipping, we'll replace it at no cost to you. Simply:
- Take photos of the damaged packaging and product
- Contact us within 7 days of delivery at support@muralls.com
- We'll arrange a replacement to be sent immediately
Please do not discard damaged items until we've resolved your claim.
What if I receive the wrong order?
If we made an error with your order (wrong design, wrong size, printing defect), we'll send a replacement free of charge. Contact us with your order number and photos of the issue, and we'll resolve it as quickly as possible.
What if I made a mistake with my measurements?
We understand mistakes happen! While we can't offer free replacements for customer measurement errors (since each order is custom printed), we'll work with you to find the best solution. Contact us and we'll help minimize any additional costs to get you the right size.

Can I cancel my order?
Orders can be cancelled within a few hours of placement, before production begins. Once printing starts, cancellation is no longer possible as the product is custom-made for you.

What wallpaper materials do you offer?
We offer three premium wallpaper materials, each suited for different needs:
- Peel & Stick: Self-adhesive vinyl. Easiest to install, repositionable, and removable without wall damage. Perfect for renters and DIY beginners.
- PVC-Free: Non-woven fleece material. Paste-the-wall application (paper stays dry). Eco-friendly, breathable, and dry strippable.
- Textured: Premium textured paper. Paste-the-paper application with booking. Rich tactile surface, exceptional durability, professional-grade finish.

Which material should I choose?
The best material depends on your situation:
- Choose Peel & Stick if: You're renting, want easy installation, or may want to change designs later
- Choose PVC-Free if: You want an eco-friendly option with professional results and easy removal
- Choose Textured if: You want the most luxurious finish with rich texture and maximum durability
All three materials are repositionable, removable, and GREENGUARD Gold certified.
Are your wallpapers safe for homes with children?
Absolutely! All our wallpapers are printed with GREENGUARD Gold certified inks - the world's most rigorous standard for low chemical emissions. This certification means our products are safe for use in:

What inks do you use for printing?
We use two types of professional-grade inks, both GREENGUARD Gold certified:
- UV-Cured Inks: Instant cure, exceptional scratch resistance, vivid colors, fade-resistant
- Water-Based Latex Inks: Low VOC, odorless when dry, excellent color accuracy, eco-friendly
Both ink types ensure vibrant, long-lasting prints while maintaining the highest indoor air quality standards.
Will the colors fade over time?
No, our wallpapers will not fade. We use UV-resistant, fade-proof inks that maintain their vibrancy for years. Even in rooms with direct sunlight, your wallpaper will look beautiful for the life of the product.
Is the wallpaper waterproof?
All our wallpaper materials are water-resistant and moisture-resistant, making them suitable for:
- Bathrooms (including near showers - avoid direct water contact)
- Kitchens
- Laundry rooms
- Other humid environments
Spills and splashes can be easily wiped clean with a damp cloth.
Installation
Do I need a professional to install the wallpaper?
No, professional installation is not required! Our wallpapers are designed for DIY installation. Most customers successfully install their wallpaper themselves. The Peel & Stick material is especially beginner-friendly.
That said, for the Textured material (which requires paste and booking), some experience is helpful. Check our detailed Installation Guide for step-by-step instructions for each material type.
What surfaces can I apply wallpaper to?
Our wallpapers work best on:
- Smooth, painted walls (best surface)
- Primed drywall
- Smooth plaster
- Light textured walls (Textured material only)
Important: Only our Textured wallpaper material is suitable for textured wall surfaces. Peel & Stick and PVC-Free require smooth surfaces for proper adhesion.
Not recommended for: Heavily textured walls, unprimed drywall, freshly painted walls (wait 4 weeks), or walls with peeling paint.
Can I apply wallpaper over existing wallpaper?
No, we do not recommend applying new wallpaper over existing wallpaper. The old wallpaper should be removed first for best results. Applying over existing wallpaper can cause:
- Poor adhesion
- Bubbling and peeling
- Visible texture from the layer underneath
Take time to properly remove old wallpaper and prepare your wall surface for the best results.
How do the panels connect? Do they overlap?
Our wallpapers use a butt-joint installation method - panels are placed edge-to-edge with no overlap. This creates seamless, professional-looking results without visible seams.
Each panel is numbered for easy installation sequence, and the pattern is designed to align perfectly when panels are butted together.
Can I reposition the wallpaper if I make a mistake?
Yes! All three of our wallpaper materials are repositionable during installation:
- Peel & Stick: Simply peel back and reapply as many times as needed
- PVC-Free: While the paste is wet, you can slide and adjust the panel
- Textured: During the wet phase, panels can be adjusted before the paste sets
Take your time aligning each panel - there's no rush!
Is the wallpaper easy to remove?
Yes, all our wallpapers are designed for easy removal:
- Peel & Stick: Simply peel off from a corner - no tools or water needed
- PVC-Free: Dry strippable - pull from a corner and the whole panel comes off cleanly
- Textured: Easy removal with no damage to walls
None of our products will damage your walls when removed properly - perfect for renters!
What tools do I need for installation?
Basic tools needed for all materials:
- Measuring tape
- Level or plumb line
- Smoothing tool or squeegee
- Sharp utility knife or blade
- Clean cloth or sponge
For PVC-Free and Textured materials, you'll also need:
- Wallpaper paste (not included)
- Paste brush or roller
- Pasting table (for Textured)

Can you create a custom design for me?
Yes! We offer custom design services for customers who want something unique. Whether you have a specific vision, want to modify an existing design, or need a completely original creation, our design team can help.

Can I use my own image or artwork?
Yes! We can print your own images, photographs, or artwork as custom wallpaper. This is perfect for:

Can you modify colors or scale of an existing design?
Yes, we can often adjust existing designs to better suit your space. Common modifications include:

- Mirror or flip designs
- Cropping or repositioning elements

Care & Maintenance
How do I clean my wallpaper?
Cleaning is simple for all our materials:
- Peel & Stick and PVC-Free: Wipe gently with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Textured: Can be cleaned with a damp cloth or soft brush. The textured surface is more forgiving of light cleaning.
For stubborn marks, use a mild soap solution and wipe gently. Always test on an inconspicuous area first.
Is the wallpaper durable?
Yes! All our wallpapers are designed for long-lasting durability:
- Scratch-resistant surface
- Fade-proof inks (UV resistant)
- Water and moisture resistant
- Easy to clean
With proper installation and care, your wallpaper will look beautiful for many years.
Can I use wallpaper in high-humidity areas?
Yes! All three of our wallpaper materials are suitable for humid environments like:
- Bathrooms
- Kitchens
- Laundry rooms
- Basements
The materials are moisture-resistant and won't be damaged by normal humidity levels. Avoid direct water contact (don't install inside a shower stall).
How long will the wallpaper last?
With proper installation and care, our wallpapers are designed to last for many years. The fade-proof inks and durable materials ensure your wallpaper will maintain its appearance throughout the life of the product - typically 10+ years for permanent installations.
